Disposal

1. Wash the packaging in warm soapy water and leave it to dry

2. Reuse it! they’re great to freeze things in, re-store snacks, collect garden seeds, anything..

3. Once you have decided you no longer desire the packaging in your life, rip or cut the bag into strips and dispose of it in a home compost

4. Cover the strips in the compost or lightly turn it - the compost will break it down faster if it is a warm | functioning compost

Reusable Home Compostable Packaging

We appreciate the earth, the soil and the land in which we walk on, that’s why all of our packaging | labels | materials at Pilgrim foods are home compostable

The packaging we use is made from a bio based certified home compostable and food safe bioplastic; biological / plant based origin. It can be recycled organically in an aerobic or anaerobic composting system and is safe for the home | commercial compost.

And of course, safe for the earthworms!

Kraft | Resealable Packaging

The Kraft / resealable packages we use are constructed from sustainably grown eucalyptus trees and home compostable bio - films, they are resealable, reusable and regenerative

All of our packaging materials follow our belief in a circular economy, meaning that our products produce minimum waste : instead of the end- of- life concept they are transformed into something restorative and regenerative to then contribute to new life in our beautiful soil | garden | earth
